ABSTRACT.
Four actinomycete strains isolated in the Yunnan Province were investigated
and compared with the type species of the genus Promicromonospora.
Morphological, cultural, physiological and chemotaxonomic characters of
the strains are described and a new species, Promicromonospora
yunnanensis sp. nov., is proposed.
