ABSTRACT.
Streptomyces complexes of three soil ecotopes at "Evolution Canyon"
(Mt.Carmel, Israel) were investigated. Numbers of streptomycetes ranged
from 3,000 to 15,000 CFU per g of dry soil. In total eighty-eight species
were isolated marked and significant differences between
Streptomyces species of the three ecotopes were detected.
