 en Neptuno-INIA, an Oat Cultivar (Avena Sativa L.) with High Industrial Quality

Abstract

Dollinco-INIA is a facultative semidwarf bread wheat ( Triticum aestivum L.) released by the Wheat Breeding Proyect at Carillanca Research Center, Instituto de Investigaciones Agropecuarias, Temuco. It is moderately susceptible to stripe rust, resistant to leaf rust and moderately resistant to septoria leaf blotch and powdery mildew. Its mean yield for four seasons has varied between 7.84 and 14.46 t ha -1 in three locations in Southern Chile. It has good quality for direct bread making, with a high sedimentation value (55.8) and good bread volume (749 cm 3 ).

Resumen

Dollinco-INIA es un trigo de pan ( Triticum aestivum L), semienano, de hábito de desarrollo alternativo, obtenido por el Proyecto de Fitomejoramiento del Instituto de Investigaciones Agropecuarias (INIA), Centro Regional de Investigación Carillanca, Temuco. Es moderadamente susceptible a polvillo estriado, resistente a polvillo de la hoja y moderadamente resistente a septoriosis y oidio. Su rendimiento promedio en ensayos en cuatro temporadas ha fluctuado entre 7,84 y 14,46 t ha –1 en tres localidades de la zona sur. Es un trigo para panificación directa, con alta cifra de sedimentación (55,8) y buen volumen de pan (749 cm 3 ).
