en BIOTECH EDUCATION - SPECIALIST TRAINING AND EDUCATION IN BIOTECHNOLOGY IN YEAR 2001

Abstract

This article lists, state by state, specialist biotechnology courses (short courses, undergraduate and postgraduate courses) offered by Australian and New Zealand educational institutes. We have not listed all BSc courses where molecular biology is taught as a unit of microbiology, biochemistry or genetics. Instead, we have tried to present information on courses aimed at biotechnologists or students aiming to be biotechnologists. We apologise if we have inadvertently omitted courses from this list. We would be pleased to publish at a later date information on further courses. The information below has been updated to September 2000. Please do not contact the ABA for further information on these courses. Contact the tertiary institutions directly. This article can also be accessed on ABA's website at http://www.aba.asn.au/
