 en New information about recent records of Meliaceae, Poaceae and Viscaceae families in the fanerogamic flora of Mexico City, Mexico

Abstract

As result of a floristic inventory, three new records were obtained for the flora of Mexico City, Mexico, all of them from Milpa Alta municipality and another one from Magdalena Contreras municipality, and additional information is provided. The Meliaceae family is recorded for the first time from the Mexico basin, and it is represented by Cedrela dugesii check for this species in other resources S. Watson. On the other hand, Chusquea bilimekii check for this species in other resources E. Fourn (Poaceae) and Arceuthobium abietis-religiosae check for this species in other resources Heil (Viscaceae) are recorded for the first time in Mexico City. The habitat of each species is described and distribution map in Mexico City is included. These three species are really rare in Mexico City and their local protection is a priority.

Resumen

Como resultado de un inventario florístico, se obtuvieron tres nuevos registros para la flora del Distrito Federal, de la Delegación Milpa Alta y de la Delegación Magdalena Contreras, de las cuales se brinda información adicional. La familia Meliaceae se registra por vez primera para la Cuenca de México representada por Cedrela dugesii check for this species in other resources S. Watson, mientras que Chusquea bilimekii check for this species in other resources E. Fourn (Poaceae) y Arceuthobium abietis-religiosae check for this species in other resources Heil (Viscaceae) significan nuevos registros para el Distrito Federal. Se describe el hábitat de cada una de las especies y se muestra un mapa de distribución en el Distrito Federal. Estas tres especies son realmente escasas en el Distrito Federal y su protección a nivel local es prioritaria.
