Previamente se conocía a Allenhyphes flinti check for this species in other resources (Allen) de Dominica y Guadalupe (Pequeñas Antillas Francesas). En este trabajo se cita por primera vez a esta especie para Panamá y Venezuela, constituyendo la primera cita del género para América continental.

Abstract

MOLINERI C, FLOWERS RW. 2001. First record of Allenhyphes check for this species in other resources Hofmann y Sartori, 1999 (Ephemeroptera: Leptohyphidae) in continental America. Entomotropica Vol. 16(1):61-62.

Allenhyphes flinti check for this species in other resources (Allen) was previously known from Dominica and Guadaloupe (Lesser French Antilles). Imagos and subimagos of both sexes of this species from Panama and Venezuela were studied. This constitutes the first record of the genus from continental America.
