Abstract

This paper presents the information available in the Museum Database on Cucurbits: Watermelon ( Citrullus vulgaris check for this species in other resources Schrad.); cantaloupe ( Cucumis melo check for this species in other resources L.); cucumber [ Cucumis sativus check for this species in other resources (L.)]; squash ( Cucurbita maxima check for this species in other resources Duch.); zucchini ( Cucurbita pepo check for this species in other resources L.); wild cucumber ( Cucurbita check for this species in other resources sp.); wild cucumber [ Lagenaria siceraria check for this species in other resources (Mol.)]; Melothria check for this species in other resources sp.; Momordica charantia check for this species in other resources L. and Chayote ( Sechium edule check for this species in other resources Sw). The data for each host plant includes: Insect order, family, genus and species when available; place of capture; number of specimens; collector and date.

Se presenta la información de insectos relacionados a las cucurbitáceas existente en la Base de Datos del Museo, con la lista de insectos relacionados a las siguientes plantas: Patilla ( Citrullus vulgaris check for this species in other resources Schrad.); melón ( Cucumis melo check for this species in other resources L.); pepino [ Cucumis sativus check for this species in other resources (L.)]; auyama ( Cucurbita maxima check for this species in other resources Duch.); calabacín ( Cucurbita pepo check for this species in other resources L.); pepino de monte ( Cucurbita check for this species in other resources sp.); Lagenaria siceraria check for this species in other resources (Mol.); Melothria check for this species in other resources sp.; Momordica charantia check for this species in other resources L. y Chayota ( Sechium edule check for this species in other resources Sw.). Se indican los siguientes datos: Especie botánica hospedera; orden, familia, género y especie de insectos (en caso de identificación hasta especie); localidad de colecta; número de ejemplares, colector y fecha de captura.
