Abstract

Acute Appendicitis is one of commonest surgical emergency encountered in surgery. The management of this condition was mostly conventional open appendicectomy. Currently, two new approaches- laparoscopic appendicectomy and needlescopic appendicectomy dominated the minimally invasive techniques for appendicectomy. We review and analyse of all the recent studies involving OA, LA and nLA.
