Case Report- Primary peritoneal echinococcosis masquerading as an ovarian cyst

Abstract
We report a case of primary peritoneal hydratid cyst, diagnosed incidentally during an operation performed for suspected ovarian cyst. Literature regarding occurrence, mechanism, and management of this entity is discussed.
