Abstract

Cochliomyia hominivorax and C. macellaria are species that
cause primary and secondary myiasis, respectively, of medical
and veterinary importance in the New World. The male
terminalia of both insects show morphological differences that
are now described from scanning electron microscope (SEM)
observations.
