 en Continuous improvement of dental quality: a key to dental practice success

Abstract

Vertiginous world wide changes also trigger transformation along the organizations, including health enterprises. The future enterprises must be multilevel functional and have defined their strategic goals including definition of processes facilitating their operation. Actually at all level health teaching enterprises should have a thought strategic direction and defined operative rules in order to have a functional structure that facilitates taking decisions and consequently have defined processes that allow them to respond appropriately to the influence of the environment and other social actors. The success key for modern organizations is to have an appropriate philosophy and managerial culture, to possess deep knowledge of the area of business, to have political managed and constructive rules for both: the internal and external clients in order to offer quality services, to rule appropriate communication models and to make a permanent evaluation of the environment. All that must allow them to respond appropriately to threats and opportunities.

 es La calidad y el mejoramiento continuo: claves en el éxito del ejercicio profesional en odontología

Resumen

Los vertiginosos cambios que suceden en el mundo han transformando las organizaciones influencia de la que no son ajenas las empresas de salud. Las empresas del futuro deberán ser funcionales a todo nivel; para ello es indispensable que posean un rumbo estratégico expresado claramente y procesos operativos definidos que faciliten la gestión y garanticen su supervivencia. Como factores claves para asegurar el éxito en las organizaciones modernas se presume tener una filosofía empresarial congruente con su cultura; dominar a profundidad el ámbito de su negocio, contar con políticas consecuentes y constructivistas dirigidas tanto a clientes internos como externos, fomentar una cultura empresarial de prestación del servicio con base en la calidad de los procesos, implementar apropiadas políticas de selección y motivación del talento humano a su interior, poseer adecuados sistemas de comunicación, realizar monitoreo y evaluación permanente del entorno para aprovechar oportunidades y anticipar impedimentos.
