Abstract

Triplets are the intra uterine development of three fetuses. The management of triplets is a controversial subject because of the delivery mode. We report a case of triplets’ birth by vagina in N’Djamena south district Hospital (Tchad). Multiparous of 38 years old, with triplets diagnosed at the 8th gestational weeks has safely given birth by vagina to triplets. The term was 38 gestational weeks. Babies have weighted: 2650g, 2520g and 2550g.

Résumé

La grossesse triple est définie comme le développement intra utérin de trois foetus. La voie d’accouchement reste toujours un sujet de controverse. Nous rapportons un cas d’accouchement de triplet à l’hôpital de district de N’Djamena sud. Il s’agit d’une multipare de 38 ans chez qui le diagnostic a été fait dès la 8ième semaine de gestation. L’accouchement a eu lieu sans incident au terme de 38 semaines de gestation, les nouveau-nés ont pesé 2650g, 2520g and 2550g.
