Invasión y Metástasis del Tumor: Biomarcadores Ysabel Alejandra López Ramírez. Resumen Los factores proteolíticos del Sistema de Activación del Plasminógeno están asociados con la regulación y control del cáncer y pronóstico. En pacientes con cáncer el incremento de estos factores proteolíticos está asociado con la progresión del tumor y con una corta sobrevida y/o tiempo sin enfermedad. Los componentes del sistema de activación del plasminógeno son de objetivo potencial para el desarrollo de una terapia anti-invasiva y anti-metastásica, esta terapia puede ser posible con componentes de inhibición de la unión del u-PA a su receptor, o con inhibidores específicos de su actividad enzimática. Existen inhibidores sintéticos de la actividad enzimática del activador del plasminógeno tipo urokinasa (u-PA) para prevenir la metástasis del cáncer, los cuales previenen el crecimiento y la invasión del tumor. Abstract The proteolytic factors of the System of Activation of the Plasminogen are associate with the regulation and control of the cancer and prognosis. In patients with cancer the increase of these proteolytic factors is associate with the progression of the tumor. The components of the system of activation of the plasmingen are of potential objective for the development of an anti-invasive therapy and anti-metastatic, this therapy can be possible with components of inhibition of the union of u-PA to its receptor, or with specific inhibitors of its enzymatic activity. They exist inhibiting synthetic of the enzymatic activity of urokinase-type plasminogen activator (u-PA) to prevent the metastasis with the cancer, which prevents the growth and the invasion of the tumor.
