Abstract

A new bird species record, the Eurasian Blackcap ( Sylvia atricapilla check for this species in other resources ), was witnessed and subsequently recorded from 22 December 2012 to 9 January 2013, in Kashi (N39°28', E76°00', altitude 1 260 m), southwest Xinjiang, China.
