We believe that bridging the existing global knowledge divide is beneficial to all of us. Will you join us? Our organization, Bioline International, is an open access e-publishing platform currently supporting over 70 scholarly journals from 15 countries. We are currently seeking new members and supporters to sustain and expand the project for the long term. For a membership fee of $500 per year, your library can help to ensure that this valuable, but often neglected, body of research is available to your faculty and students. Bioline International is a joint endeavor of faculty and librarians from the University of Toronto and the Reference Center on Environmental Information, Brazil. We have also received support from organizations such as SPARC, the Open Society Institute and Science Commons. Your institutional membership fee will go towards the cost of our daily operation, including document conversion, metadata enhancement, usage tracking, technology upgrades and user support. More than 70 new journals have applied to join Bioline over the last year. With your contribution we will be able to make additional journals available to all. Please read our brochure - http://www.bioline.org.br/BiolineBrochure.pdf Please consider joining Bioline International as a member or as a sponsor. Your colleagues at your institution and in the developing world will benefit greatly from your decision to join.
