CHANGES TO JOURNAL AVAILABILITY ON THE BIOLINE WEBSITE:
July 22, 2003: Unfortunately, Australasian Biotechnology (backfiles)
(http://www.bioline.org.br/au) will no longer be updated on the Bioline
International website. The journal was moved to our "Older Journals"
archive. We thank AusBiotech for past years of pleasant collaboration,
and wish them success in upcoming endeavours.
July 29, 2003: We are sad to announce that new issues of the African
Journal of Neurological Sciences (http://www.bioline.org.br/ns) are no
longer available through the Bioline International website. The journal
has been moved to our "Older Journals". New issues may be found on the
journal's website http://ajns.mine.nu/. Please direct all questions and
inquiries to the journal directly through the above website, or by using
our "Contact this journal" link.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM BIOSTRATEGY ASSOCIATES:
Biostrategy Associates is pleased to announce the transfer of its three
online only journals, Biofilm Journal, Biopolicy Journal and Biosafety
Journal, to the Electronic Journal of Biotechnology. The Electronic
Journal of Biotechnology is sponsored by UNESCO and the Comisión
Nacional de Investigación Científica y Technológica (CONICYT), and has
been published online by the Pontificia Universidad Católica de
Valparaíso, Chile, since 1998. It aims to provide essential
biotechnology information to the international scientific community and
is available free of charge. As well as providing peer-reviewed research
and review papers, technical notes and short communications, the
Electronic Journal of Biotechnology provides links to many other
valuable biotechnology resources (meetings, press releases, publications
etc).
Although back material of the three journals will remain available on
the Bioline International homepages for each journal, new submissions
from authors should now be sent to the Electronic Journal of
Biotechnology. Instructions for authors and all other information about
the journal can be found on
http://www.ejbiotechnology.info/instructions.html.
We are very content that on the retirement of Biostrategy Associates
from publishing, a new home has been found for these publications that
continues the philosophy of online open access, ensuring continued
availability to scientists in the developing world.
WEBSITE CHANGES:
We have done a little work to modify the abstract page, in hopes of
making it easier to use. We've arranged the information a little
differently, with the title and author's names listed at the top, before
the Bioline Code & document information. Users can now access the
full-text (where applicable submissions or open access permit) by
clicking the title of the article OR using the Bioline code. Please send
us any suggestions you may have regarding this section of our site.
That's it for now! We hope to add more new journals soon, and look
forward to receiving your comments & suggestions.
