Sir,

We would like to thank you for commenting [1] on our article. [2]

The comments from you are facts and standard goal of writing articles for consumption by the populace.

The study was a prospective study, and the authors duly participated in the study design and data collection. The investigations were paid for by the authors. Funds for research are still not optimal in developing countries.

The microbiological analysis was done by an identified laboratory scientist in the hospital (Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano).

We therefore regret the non-acknowledgment of the microbiological services. It must have been a great oversight.
