EDITORIAL A new journal: European Journal of General Medicine Reha Erkoç Yüzüncü Yil University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal
Medicine, Division of Nephrology Code Number: gm04001 We are happy to introduce you to our new journal. This journal is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal that publishes articles in the field of general medicine. Each issue would present to the readers, the current developments in a broad spectrum of medicine. Our main objective is to provide useful data to clinicians for the care of their patients and contribute to general medicine and science. We made complete electronic access available free to anyone connecting to http://www.ejgm.org initially in order to present our journal to the world. As more and more websites are becoming available over the internet, it is imperative that we are hoping to provide not only a reliable resource to our readers, but also one that is globally useful. We welcome comments on our journal and web site. We understand the importance of a submitted manuscript to its authors. We invite you to submit your best research to us; we will treat it carefully with respect. We are indebted to the physicians and investigators whose study reports form the core of the Journal each issue. Afterwards I would like to thank all colleagues and co-workers for their hard work and dedication in the preparation of the journal.
