I thank you all again for electing me to the coveted post of the President of ASI and the confidence reposed on me. Even though I am happy and I am honoured by this post, I am aware of the responsibilities also. Managing a great Association and catering the needs of our members is not an easy job. But I am conscious of my duty and I am always ready to fulfill the needs of our members to the maximum possible.

Any Association can flourish only with the help of the office bearers and the co-operation of members. Now I have Dr. M. N. Kamaludeen as Honorary. Secretary and Dr. U. Vasudeva Rao as Honorary Treasurer to share and execute the Association work. All our Governing Council Members are interested much in the welfare of the Association and their enthusiasm will help to run the Association and also to raise the image of the Association. I request all our members to contact any one of our office bearers whenever they have any problem.

Prof. Dr. S. K. Shukla, Chief Editor of IJS is taking all efforts to publish the journal in time and he has promised to send the journal to all our members regularly. I hope he will be able to do it with the help of his team and also raise the standard of the journal.

I assure you that I will strive hard to make everyone happy and I pray the Almighty to help me in this endeavour. I request all of you to be united and make the Association useful, healthy and stronger one.
