Dear Colleagues,

It is with great anguish that I am writing about the plagiarism of articles by some authors. In the last 4 months, two such cases have been noted and authors have been warned. Please read the instructions for authors carefully. Each please sign a manuscript copyright form which is very clear.

Such academic malpractice is not desirable; it is internationally condemned and gives a bad example to our new generation upcoming surgeons.

Such authors′ papers will not be accepted for I.J.S. in future.

We are not publishing the name of this particular author in the I.J.S. but will certainly do so in future if any such case is found.

Let us pursue our course of academic excellence only by our sincerity, hard work and dedication, and no other means whatsoever.
