Food is clearly in short supply all over. The more reason why we should continue with research and sharing of information on related issues. Without knowledge, we are lost.
I wish to extend greetings to all our readership once again, as we publish Issue 19 of AJFAND. In this issue, we have some very interesting papers which you can sample and even take a more keen interest in. We provide the contacts of the authors and our reviewers as well because they constitute an invaluable intellectual resource. In our Eating Healthy section, we feature the attributes of soya.
The articles in this issue are as follows:
-
Home-based practices of complementary foods improvement are associated with better height-for-age Z score in 12-23 months-old children from a rural district of Burkina Faso.
Hermann Ouedraogo et al.
-
Farming systems and strategies for sustainable livelihood in Eritrea.
Sati Vishwambhar
-
Nutritional evaluation of the giant grassropper (Zonocerus variegatus) protein and the possible effects of its high dietary fibre on amino acids and mineral bioavailability.
Mariam Solomon et al.
-
PAPER RE-PRINTED WITH PERMISSION FROM AUTHOR
Geography of Africa biomedical publications: An analysis of 1996-2005 PubMed papers.
Olalekan Uthman and Mubashir Uthman
Many authors feel elated to be contacted by a reader who has taken trouble to go through his/her published works.
Let me extend much appreciation to each and everyone of you, once again for your unrelenting support.
