Through AJFAND issue 30, we send you New Year greetings and wish each  one of our sponsors, readers, authors and reviewers a prosperous,  joyful and action  packed year 2010. We value each one of you and hope to continue collaborating  with you to continuously improve the quality of the journal. This year, GAIN (Global Alliance  for Improved Nutrition) joins our list of sponsors by supporting 6 interns for 4 months at  a time.
The students will be sourced from amongst the best of the first degree  graduates, or continuing postgraduate class. The area of focus mutually agreed  on with GAIN will be maternal and child health and nutrition. The idea is to  train and mentor future editors- in- chief.
