We at AJFAND wish to release issue 38 with great expectation that the Editorial will at least be read by those coming to attend the 4th Africa Nutritional Epidemiology Conference. Via some of the issues ahead, we plan to carry some of the comments we received regarding whether we should introduce a fee for processing manuscripts.The question was put to a sample of reviewers/authors and we wish to thank those who took time to respond.
