Our senior colleague Dr. Naren A. Shah (75 years) passed away on Saturday, 15 July 2006. Dr. Naren Shah was founder member of Ahmedabad Branch and served as Hon. Medical Officer to Gujarat State Regional Transport Corporation for 36 years. He was Past Vice President of Indian Association of Occupational Health, India. He was soft spoken and a compassionate person. He was instrumental in organizing 43rd National IAOH Conference and one of the key person in developing Occupational Health in Gujarat. He had donated Dr. N.A. Shah Resource person Trophy to IAOH Centre. Dr. Naren Shah will be missed by all of us especially Ahmedabad Branch.
