Abstract

Coelho LBN, Da-Silva ER, Ferreira PSF. 2001. Redescription of the male and description of the female of Gypona reversa check for this species in other resources DeLong and Martinson 1972 (Homoptera, Cicadellidae, Gyponinae). Entomotropica 16(2):127-129.

The redescription of the male and the first description of the female of Gypona reversa DeLong and Martinson 1972 are presented, based on specimens from Viçosa, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. This species seems to be more closely related to G. gilba DeLong and Martinson 1972.

É apresentada a redescrição do macho e a primeira descrição da fêmea de Gypona reversa DeLong e Martinson 1972, com base em exemplares procedentes de Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brasil. A espÉcie aparenta ser mais proximamente relacionada à G. gilba DeLong e Martinson 1972.
