Resumen

Kalipan-INIA es un cultivar de trigo (Triticum aestivum L.) de hábito alternativo liberado por el Proyecto Trigo del Instituto de Investigaciones Agropecuarias, en el Centro Regional de Investigación Quilamapu, Chillán, a partir de un cruzamiento efectuado en 1988. Ha estado incluido en ensayos de rendimiento desde 1995. Es un trigo semienano con una altura de planta de 85 a 100 cm, resistente a Puccinia striiformis y Puccinia recondita. En ensayos su rendimiento ha variado entre 8 y 11 t ha-1. El peso del hectolitro ha oscilado entre 83 y 85 kg hL-1, la proteína del grano entre 9 y 10%, y el volumen de pan entre 500 y 640 cm3.

Abstract

Kalipan-INIA is an alternative bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivar developed from a cross made in 1988 by the Wheat Project at Quilamapu Regional Research Center of the National Agricultural Research Institute (INIA), Chillán. It has been included in yield trials since 1995. It is a semi-dwarf wheat, with 85-100 cm plant height, resistant to Puccinia striiformis and Puccinia recondita .

In trials, its grain yield has varied between 8 and 11 t ha-1, test weight between 83 to 85 kg hL-1, grain protein from 9 to 10% and bread volume between 500 y 640 cm3.
