Os objetivos do presente estudo foram avaliar diferentes intervalos de imersão (2, 4, 8 e 16 horas) e suportes
de apoio (papel-filtro e espuma) dos explantes de
Eucalyptus grandis
x
Eucalyptus urophylla
dentro dos
recipientes de imersão temporária automatizada (RITA
®), assim como um sistema de ventilação com entrada
de ar acoplado ao recipiente dos biorreatores. Foram avaliadas as características: massa fresca, número
de brotos e hiper-hidricidade dos explantes, na fase de multiplicação de gemas axilares. As imersões a
cada duas e quatro horas e o suporte papel-filtro proporcionaram maior crescimento e multiplicação dos
explantes, porém, ocasionaram maior percentual de brotos hiper-hídricos. No sistema e nas condições
testadas, a injeção de ar ao recipiente do biorreator RITA
® não influenciou o crescimento das culturas.
